Many thanks to the fine folks over at MVEDA (the Mesilla Valley Economic Development Alliance) for the warm welcome on the MVEDA Blog and the informative Business on the Border Forum today.

Featuring a presentation by Gary Gomes, President of the High Tech Consortium of Southern New Mexico, the Forum provided an opportunity to meet business and civic leaders and to hear updates on the progress MVEDA and the High Tech Consortium made during 2009. While the state and national economies faced numerous challenges in the past year, both organizations have contributed to making southern New Mexico’s future brighter than ever.

It is great to be a part of a community that values investing in economic development and making the most of technological advancements. The Forum was well-attended and covered by the Las Cruces Bulletin and the Las Cruces Sun-News.
