Heritage Foundation’s take on the Estate Tax

The Heritage Foundation website has a number of videos that discuss the federal estate tax, its effect on businesses, and the current lack of an estate tax in 2010.

Here is one of the videos, in which an estate planning lawyer (Harold Apolinsky) discusses the estate tax, its history (“to pay for World War I”), the current law and its impact, and his opinion of the continued use of the estate tax.
